Even though it is quite gentle for the skin and works for my sensitive skin, it contains Alcohol and some PEGs and PPG. Nevertheless, their concentration is likely khổng lồ be very little, as most of the ingredients (except for PEG-7 Caprylic/Capric Glycerides) are at the bottom of the list.

The main concern of the PEG-7 Caprylic/Capric Glycerides, in its turn, is its possible contamination with such potential carcinogens as Ethylene Oxide and 1,4-Dioxane. Nevertheless, some of the manufactures may have a policy on stripping down the contaminants, however, I couldn’t find any policy for Son và Park. Nevertheless, FDA considers PEG-7 Caprylic/Capric Glycerides as “designated as safe for general or specific, limited use in food“, since there is no strong evidence that PEGs và PPGs cause an adverse reaction to lớn the skin or health. However, to be on the safe side, it’s better to lớn avoid putting the hàng hóa directly on broken skin.

How to lớn Use:

Beauty Water can be used multiple times a day, including your morning and night routine as well as for refreshing the skin in between. There are a few ways khổng lồ use Beauty Water.

Use it as an exfoliating toner by moistening a cốt tông pad & gently sweeping across the face. Use as a regular toner patting it into your skin before you apply your skin care products or to prep the skin before makeup application.

I prefer using it as my last “cleansing” step. I apply a little bit on a cốt tông pad, gently cleansing my face & neck. Besides, I also lượt thích to apply it before I put my makeup on since it gently smoothes my skin.

I’ve almost finished my full size (11.49 oz / 340 ml) bottle & it has lasted me for over 7 months và I think the remaining amount of the hàng hóa will last me another couple of months.

My Experience

Some Technical Details

I’m a huge tín đồ of adding sun rays into the picture. You can achieve this by closing your aperture lớn the max, in other words, choosing the highest number of your F stop. My lens gives me a chance lớn close it down khổng lồ F/39! Can you imagine this?

Nevertheless, you have khổng lồ be careful when you choose a high number of F stop, as all the dust that you have on the camera sensor will show on the picture. But you can always retouch the image, which is what I did, but it’s quite a time-consuming process, though.

This is a screenshot from Lightroom. All the grey rounds are the places I had to lớn retouch lớn keep the photo “clean”! 

My remote control stopped working, so I had lớn use a timer. I also attached an extra monitor from Neewer, so that I see what I’m shooting. I also had a reflector that I was trying lớn hold with my foot, but I’m sure it barely added any effect lớn this. I definitely need to lớn invest in a stand.

The secret behind the background

I was shooting at home. It was a sunny day, around noon, & the sky had that perfect xanh color. I pointed the camera upwards và used the sky through the window as my background. Coming to the performance of the product

As a cleanser: I tried using it as a cleanser taking a few drops of the beauty water in a cotton pad and swiping across my face. It did gently wipe out excess oil & dirt from my skin. But I didn’t enjoy using this product as a standalone cleanser. I always feel lượt thích using a foam cleanser thereafter khổng lồ give a squeaky clean effect.As a makeup remover: The Beauty Water was able to lớn remove light BB cream makeup easily. For my foundation I had lớn use 2 lớn 3 soaked cốt tông pads. And it definitely does not remove waterproof makeup or mascara. In my opinion it is not an efficient makeup remover.As a toner: I loved it. Its effectiveness as a toner is great. I could see that it gently exfoliated my skin. Over a period of two weeks using it once a day in my night time routine, my skin looked visibly brighter. The rough texture on my forehead was smoothened out as well. The Beauty Water is not very drying despite containing alcohol but at the same time it is not very hydrating for my now dry combination skin. The Beauty Water contains exfoliating ingredients like Willow Bark và Papaya Extract so it shouldn’t be used for the 7 Skin Method of layering of your toner.As a freshener: I don’t particularly like using toning waters with a lot of ingredients as a midday freshener. Because doing so, my skin breaks out a majority of times. I generally stick to organic rose water or plain hydrosols for refreshing purposes. I used this Beauty Water a few times as a fresher to kiểm tra it out but I didn’t really enjoy it. It didn’t give a very refreshing feel nor is very hydrating as I said earlier.

Overall, I vị acknowledge the hype of this product partially. I don’t see this as a multipurpose sản phẩm as claimed but as a highly effective toning water for brightening & evening out the overall skin tone. I wouldn’t be getting the full size product mainly because of the alcohol nội dung in it. But I will stock up the 30 ml travel form size as a backup in case my skin craves for this beauty water sometime later.

Would I recommend? Depends. If you are fine with alcohol & citrus fruit extracts, this will be a great addition lớn your skincare routine. It is a mild exfoliating toner that brightens and even outs the skin tone.
